Giorgio Armani and British Fashion Council Launch New Brand Competition

Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani has partnered with the British Fashion Council (BFC) to launch the New Brand competition, aimed at discovering and promoting new talent. The competition is open to students from fashion schools within the BFC Colleges Council network. Participants must reinterpret three iconic models from the Emporio Armani brand, showcasing the essence of British style. A panel of judges from Giorgio Armani will review all applications and select three winners. The chosen students will have the opportunity to showcase their designs in Emporio Armani stores in London, Manchester, and Glasgow, and their creations will also be available for sale online. In addition, the winners will be given the chance to visit the brand headquarters in Milan and interact with renowned designers. Giorgio Armani believes that British design schools are among the most interesting in the industry, and hopes that this initiative will help the young talents succeed and progress in their careers. This competition provides a stepping stone into the fashion industry for aspiring designers.
