Georg Jensen to Open Flagship Store on London’s Bond Street

Danish jewellery designer Georg Jensen is preparing to open a new flagship store on London’s prestigious Bond Street. Located at 108 New Bond Street, the store is expected to be operational by the end of the year. Georg Jensen has secured a 10-year lease on the building, which will provide approximately 5,000 sq ft of retail space spread over three floors. This space will allow the brand to showcase its extensive range of designer jewellery, silver holloware, and homeware collections. The strategic placement of the store, next to Diptyque’s new London store and opposite upcoming key brands, ensures its visibility and accessibility to potential customers.

Some of the brands that will also be opening in this area include DSquared2, Hackett, Bang & Olufsen, and Opera Gallery. Furthermore, the opening of the Elizabeth line transport link in Hanover Square will provide easy access to Heathrow Airport within just 30 minutes, making the location highly appealing to international shoppers. Savills, a prominent real estate company, facilitated the deal for the store. Their director, Anthony Selwyn, expressed his excitement for the area’s development and highlighted its transformation into a prime luxury destination.

Georg Jensen’s decision to open a flagship store on Bond Street came after an extensive two-year search for the perfect location. The brand was determined to find a space that could effectively showcase their entire product range in a prestigious and captivating environment, following their departure from Mount Street. The forthcoming opening of their Bond Street store will further solidify Georg Jensen’s presence in the luxury market and cater to discerning shoppers in search of elegant and timeless jewellery and homeware pieces.
