After collaborating with Huawei on a revolutionary Smart Eyewear concept, luxury brand Gentle Monster is now teaming up with Fendi to create an exclusive collection of sunglasses. This partnership aims to combine the avant-garde style of Korea with the impeccable craftsmanship of Italy, catering to luxury consumers who crave unique and limited edition pieces.
The collection will consist of two unisex sunglasses models, named Gentle Fendi No. 1 and No. 2, inspired by the “Butterfly” and “Aviator” shapes respectively. These sunglasses will be available for purchase online and in a selection of 36 Fendi and Gentle Monster stores worldwide, starting from May 14th.
Known for their visually stunning displays, Gentle Monster will also showcase a series of installations dedicated to this collaboration in Fendi stores, including locations in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, New York, and Rome, as well as their own flagship stores. In Seoul, they will even set up a Gentle Monster Café pop-up, which will be open until July 29th.

Building on the success of last year’s Logomania celebration with Fendi Reloaded, which highlighted Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic double F logo, Fendi Roma Amor presents a streetwear-inspired line. This collection showcases vibrant designs with fluorescent accents and features a newly designed 3D lettering created by British graffiti artist Pref.
To celebrate the release of these new pieces, Fendi will also provide a customization service, offering a hand embroidery workshop in selected boutiques. Skilled artisans will be available to add initials to the products, adding a personalized touch for customers.
