Ganni Opens First Flagship Store in Berlin

Ganni, the well-known Danish fashion brand, is taking its retail presence to new heights by opening its very first flagship store in Germany. This exciting development for the brand is taking place in the buzzing city of Berlin, which perfectly aligns with Ganni’s values of cultural diversity and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The decision to open a store in Berlin was a logical one for Ganni, as the brand already enjoys a strong and dedicated following in Germany.

The new store is located on Rochstrasse, which is one of Berlin’s major shopping areas. Ganni has taken inspiration from the founders, Ditte and Nicolaj Reffstrup’s, Danish roots and incorporated elements that celebrate their heritage. Retro vases, vintage furniture, and artwork by female talents fill the store, creating a unique and aesthetically pleasing shopping experience.

In addition to showcasing stylish fashion, the Ganni flagship store is making a commitment to sustainability. The store incorporates eco-friendly elements such as podiums made from recycled plastic waste and interior trays created from pressed old fabrics. Not stopping there, the store also features upcycled Artek stools made from repurposed Ganni fabrics.

Ganni understands the importance of personalized shopping experiences, which is why the flagship store offers both virtual and physical 1-2-1 personal shopping appointments. This allows customers to connect with the Ganni team on a deeper level and receive personalized fashion advice.

To mark the special occasion of opening its Berlin store, Ganni has enlisted the help of local artists and designers. Berlin-based artist, Isis-Maria Niedecken, has been commissioned to create an artwork that will have a permanent place in the store, adding a touch of local talent. Additionally, Ganni has partnered with local ceramicist Sisi Tonia to create a limited edition of espresso cup ceramics. These ceramics will be given to customers who spend over €300, adding an exclusive incentive for loyal customers.

As if that wasn’t enough, Ganni has also introduced exclusive limited edition reworked Berlin Smiley T-shirts that can only be purchased at the flagship store. These t-shirts are sure to become a coveted item among fashion enthusiasts.

Ganni recognizes the importance of creating a memorable and enjoyable shopping experience for its customers. To enhance the overall experience during the opening weekend, the brand has partnered with Berlin-based Sofi Bakery, owned by Frederik Bille Brahe. Customers will have the opportunity to indulge in fresh pastries and cheese buns while exploring the store, making the shopping experience even more delightful.

The expansion of Ganni into Germany with its flagship store in Berlin is a testament to the brand’s commitment to growth and creating immersive retail experiences. By combining unique design elements, sustainable practices, and collaborations with local artists and businesses, Ganni continues to connect with its loyal community while also attracting new customers in Germany and beyond.
