This eagerly awaited opening will be hosted in a stunning Art Deco building situated at number 52, where it will occupy the former Virgin Megastore space next to the newly unveiled Monoprix concept store.
Led by managing director Nadia Dhouib, the Champs-Elysées flagship store is poised to transform the retail landscape by offering a truly exceptional shopping experience. Encompassing a vast 6,500 square meters, the store will boast the largest retail footprint on this famous Parisian avenue, showcasing a curated selection of luxury and designer fashion, as well as music, books, and gourmet delights.
At this new location, customer service will be paramount, with sales associates serving as dedicated “personal stylists” to elevate the shopping experience. Galeries Lafayette aims to blend the concept of a lifestyle store with an ever-evolving event space, eschewing traditional concessions for a more integrated approach. The retailer has partnered with the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) to establish a cutting-edge “Retail Academy,” conducting recruitment and training sessions to equip its staff for the intricacies of the store’s innovative retail environment.
Beyond the Champs-Elysées flagship, Galeries Lafayette has revealed plans to launch a new store in the Beaugrenelle shopping center in Paris’ 15th arrondissement in the latter part of 2019. This expansion not only reinforces the brand’s footprint in the Paris retail scene but also ushers in an exciting new chapter for Galeries Lafayette.
