Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, the famous Parisian department store, has recently introduced an exciting new video sales concept called Exclusive Live Shopping. Developed by start-up GoInStore, this innovative concept aims to revolutionize the online shopping experience by offering customers personalized assistance.

Since reopening its flagship store on May 30th, Galeries Lafayette Haussmann has been dedicated to integrating digital solutions into its retail operations. Exclusive Live Shopping allows customers to connect with personal shoppers or brand advisors through video calls, providing a seamless and luxurious shopping experience for fashion, beauty, and accessories.

Customers have the option to choose between two types of assistance. They can be guided by a personal shopper who is well-versed in all the 120 luxury brands available on the platform, or they can consult with brand advisors from the 70 partner luxury and designer brands. Some of the prestigious brands included in this service are Gucci, Balenciaga, De Beers, Guerlain, Hermès Beauté, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, and Dior. The video conversations are one-way, ensuring customer privacy while receiving expert guidance.

The concept also includes a “Wishlist” function, where customers can fill out an online form and specify the items they would like to see during their virtual shopping session. Alexandre Liot, the Director of Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, strongly believes in the power of omnichannel commerce and emphasizes the importance of making the store’s offerings accessible beyond its physical walls. He explains, “With Exclusive Live Shopping, we are taking a new step in the unique experience we want to offer our customers, with the support of the major brands who have enthusiastically joined us within tight deadlines.”

The Exclusive Live Shopping service is available from Monday to Saturday, between 11 am and 7 pm, and is offered in multiple languages. Customers can choose to have their purchases conveniently delivered to their homes the next day or can opt for in-store pickup on the same day. This exciting new concept demonstrates Galeries Lafayette’s commitment to remaining at the forefront of retail innovation and providing extraordinary customer experiences in today’s ever-evolving digital landscape.
