Currently, she serves as an external advisor to an international consulting firm and holds a position on the board of directors for New Yorkers for Children.

Meanwhile, Wardell’s impressive background encompasses significant achievements in the education and business sectors. She currently serves as the executive chairman of the board of directors for Adtalem Global Education, a company known for its expertise in workforce solutions and healthcare education. Throughout her career, Wardell has held prominent leadership positions, including president and CEO, as well as CEO and chairman. Wardell’s influence extends to her involvement on the boards of American Express Company, the Economic Club of Chicago, the Executive Leadership Council, CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion, and the Fortune CEO Initiative.

Morris Goldfarb, G-III’s chairman and CEO, expressed his enthusiasm for the latest additions to the board, emphasizing their business acumen and knowledge in the field of omni-channel retail. He believes that their valuable perspectives will play an integral role in furthering the company’s strategic plans and maximizing the potential of its brands.

With the appointment of Wardell and Ongman, G-III aims to tap into their insights and experiences to support the management team’s vision for the future. Recognizing the ever-changing landscape of the fashion industry and shifting consumer behaviors, G-III is committed to staying at the forefront of the market by leveraging the latest technology and data-driven strategies.

The decision to bring on Wardell and Ongman is indicative of G-III’s commitment to fostering a diverse and knowledgeable board of directors. This move reinforces the company’s dedication to driving innovation and growth from within. With the fresh perspectives and expertise of Wardell and Ongman, G-III is poised for continued success in the fast-paced and ever-evolving fashion industry.
