French Footwear Brand Nodaleto Expands into Bridalwear Sector

French footwear brand Nodaleto has expanded its offerings by entering the bridalwear sector with its debut collection of bridal shoes. Inspired by a pair of customized white sandals it created for a bride last year, the brand decided to design shoes specifically tailored for brides. The capsule collection is now available for pre-order on Nodaleto’s website.

Founded in 2019 by Julia Toledano and Olivier Leone, Nodaleto focuses on minimalist yet retro designs that explore femininity. The brand’s CEO stated that the decision to enter the bridal sector was driven by a desire to support their loyal customers throughout the significant milestones of their lives. With many friends getting engaged in 2022 and Toledano herself soon to be married, it felt like a natural progression for the brand. Additionally, after the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Nodaleto believes it’s time to celebrate and offer a unique alternative to traditional bridal collections.

The bridal collection comprises various styles of platforms, featuring Nodaleto’s distinctive wide and comfortable heels in different heights. The collection includes sandals, designs with feather finishes, and nods to Art Deco, with colors ranging from sky blue to cream tones and sparkling embellishments. Consisting of 15 different shoe models, the collection caters to the “modern, unconventional bride” and will be available in stores during the spring season. Prices for the bridal shoes will range from €495 to €945.

To showcase the new collection, Nodaleto traveled to Las Vegas, where a campaign was shot by photographer Hugo Comte, featuring model Stella Maxwell. The creative direction of the shoot drew inspiration from pop culture and casino-themed weddings commonly held in Nevada chapels, resulting in a vintage setting for the bridal footwear.

Nodaleto already possesses a strong presence in the fashion industry, with a network of multi-brand retailers across Europe, Asia, and North America. Notable retailers for the brand include Le Bon Marché, Dover Street Market, and 10 Corso Como Milan. Nodaleto also sells its products through its own website and is available on leading e-commerce platforms such as MatchesFashion and MyTheresa. With its entry into the bridalwear sector, Nodaleto aims to offer a fresh and alternative choice for brides seeking options beyond traditional bridal collections.
