French fashion house Jacquemus appoints Vittoria Pietropoli as Brand and Communications Director

French fashion house Jacquemus has recently announced the appointment of Vittoria Pietropoli as its new Brand and Communications Director, a position that has been created to support the brand’s ongoing expansion and growth. Pietropoli, who took to social media to share the news, previously worked at luxury cashmere label Loro Piana as the Head of Communications in 2021. Before that, she spent four years at Moncler, where she led the global digital public relations and marketing teams. Pietropoli’s extensive professional journey includes roles focused on worldwide digital press relations for press offices such as Karla Otto and Woolrich.

Under the management of Simon Porte Jacquemus, the founder, and Bastien Daguzan, the current manager, Jacquemus has been experiencing a remarkable acceleration in its growth trajectory. The brand recently showcased its latest collection at the iconic Château de Versailles gardens in June and has witnessed a significant increase in sales, with numbers doubling from 100 to 200 million euros between 2021 and 2022. This success can be attributed to the brand’s strategic positioning in the upscale fashion market.

Jacquemus has solidified its presence in the fashion capital, Paris, with its boutique situated in the prestigious Avenue Montaigne in the Golden Triangle. Additionally, the brand has expanded its reach through the establishment of pop-up stores and activations in exclusive seaside resorts along the Mediterranean coast, spanning between France and Italy. Furthermore, Jacquemus has successfully made its mark in the United States, establishing a strong presence in the American market.

The appointment of Vittoria Pietropoli as Brand and Communications Director signifies a significant milestone for Jacquemus, demonstrating the brand’s dedication to further enhancing its global presence and reinforcing its position as a leading luxury fashion house. Given Pietropoli’s expertise in communications and her previous experience with renowned fashion labels, she is poised to make valuable contributions to Jacquemus’s continued success and growth in the industry.
