Frasers Group Partners with Sada to Develop Strategic Data Platform

Retail giant Frasers Group has joined forces with Google Cloud partner, Sada, to develop and deploy a new strategic data platform for its retail portfolio. The aim of this partnership is to improve data visibility and reporting capabilities across Frasers Group’s retailers. By utilizing Google Cloud’s advanced technology and the expertise of Sada, Frasers Group anticipates significant value from its cloud investment.

According to Simon Palmer, Chief Information Officer of Frasers Group, the decision to choose Google Cloud was prompted by the need to address the company’s data challenges. Moving from an on-premises environment to the cloud was deemed necessary to catch up in the data field. Palmer stressed the importance of partnering with a provider that understands the ecosystem and has the ability to support rapid and efficient scaling. Sada was selected for its expertise in this area.

Sada’s team of engineers have already assisted Frasers Group in migrating its initial dataset to Google Cloud’s BigQuery. Going forward, Sada will continue to work closely with Frasers Group, providing a Cloud Advisory team that ensures strategic consistency and flexibility in the long-term goal of developing and maintaining a self-service, value-driven data model.
