Fnac Darty Group Explores the Future of Smart Living with Pop-Up Apartment

Fnac Darty Group is exploring the future of smart living with its new pop-up apartment, “Smart Interior.” The 500m2 space, known as L’Appartement du Futur, aims to showcase technological innovations for the home and educate consumers on making informed choices. The pop-up features around fifteen different rooms, including a dining room, living room, bedroom, kitchen, and laundry room, where visitors can experience various technologies in real-life scenarios. Equipped with a smartwatch, visitors can trigger demonstrations of connected gardens, virtual reality headsets, robot dogs, voice-controlled visual experiences, and more. The apartment also gives consumers the opportunity to test innovative products showcased at CES, such as the “4D” connected sofa by Miliboo and smart mirrors by CareOs. While some products are available for pre-order, most are already being sold in Fnac and Darty stores. The pop-up also offers workshops for children and artistic installations exploring the relationship between culture and innovation. Access to the space is free, but requires prior registration. The Pop-Up Apartment of the Future is open from May 10th to May 24th at 10 rue Charlot, Paris 3.
