Flannels Opens New Store in Southampton with Beauty Edit Concept

Flannels, the luxury chain owned by Frasers Group, is continuing its store opening spree with the launch of a new store in Southampton. Unlike previous stores, this one features the company’s new Beauty Edit concept, which is being introduced for the first time. Spanning across a massive 22,000 square feet in the West Quay shopping centre, the store offers a carefully selected range of luxury designer clothing and accessories for men, women, and children from prestigious brands like Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Burberry, Dolce and Gabbana, and Versace.

While the store’s fashion offerings are impressive, what truly sets it apart is its Beauty Edit section. Flannels is looking to challenge the dominance of the London-centric beauty market with this new addition. The dedicated beauty section will showcase a wide range of beauty products, including bath and body essentials, fragrances, skincare, and makeup. By curating the best brands in beauty, Flannels hopes to connect with a broader audience. In fact, the company has plans to open up to 10 Beauty Edit concept spaces in important regional locations by 2025.

The introduction of the Beauty Edit means that well-established luxury brands like Chloé, Cartier, Moschino, and Prada will now share shelf space with up-and-coming names that have had limited regional presence until now. Some of the new additions include Boy Smells, Sarah Chapman, Nudestix, and Medik8. Additionally, the Southampton store will feature exclusive beauty brands such as The Inkey List, Kate Somerville, Chantecaille, and Living Proof. It will also be the only physical retailer stocking Patrick Ta and Jouer.

Jack Bridges, the creative consultant for Flannels and partner at luxury designer Argent, expressed his enthusiasm for the new store. According to him, the Southampton store not only builds upon the core values of Flannels but also goes beyond its flagship beauty hall. The store’s unique design and incorporation of new concepts aim to create a retail destination that offers exceptional service and outstanding store design.

With its expansion into regional locations and the introduction of the Beauty Edit concept, Flannels is revolutionizing luxury fashion and beauty retail. By blending established luxury brands with emerging names and offering a carefully curated selection of beauty products, Flannels aims to provide a shopping experience that is truly one-of-a-kind and captivating for its customers.
