Fiona Firth Named Managing Director of Mr Porter

Mr Porter, the esteemed online destination for luxury menswear, has recently named Fiona Firth as their new Managing Director. Firth, who has been integral to the company’s success as the Buying Director since April 2016, steps into the position left vacant by Toby Bateman’s departure three months ago.

During her tenure at Mr Porter, Firth has spearheaded groundbreaking campaigns that have redefined the luxury menswear shopping experience online. She has been a driving force behind exclusive collaborations with esteemed brands like Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, and Balenciaga. Moreover, Firth played a pivotal role in the successful launch of the Mr P ready-to-wear label, as well as the expansion of the brand’s offerings to include shoes, accessories, luxury watches, and lifestyle products.

In her new capacity as Managing Director, Firth will directly report to Alison Loehnis, the president of Yoox Net-A-Porter’s Luxury Division. Her primary mandate is to propel Mr Porter’s ambitious initiatives for continued growth and global expansion. This encompasses elevating the customer experience and solidifying the brand’s stature as a leader in men’s luxury fashion through exceptional selection, service, content, and immersive experiences.

Drawing on her extensive background in menswear buying at prestigious retailers like River Island, Harvey Nichols, and Harrods, Firth brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Federico Marchetti, the chairman and CEO of Yoox Net-A-Porter, commended Firth’s achievements and affirmed that her appointment underscores the company’s dedication to cultivating internal talent with a profound understanding of luxury clientele and brand partnerships.

With Fiona Firth steering the ship, Mr Porter is well-positioned to sustain its track record of delivering unparalleled luxury menswear offerings to a global audience.
