Ferragamo’s New Designer Maximilian Davis: A Celebration of Innovation

Ferragamo is placing a significant focus on its new designer, Maximilian Davis, by hosting a unique sale. As part of its relaunch efforts, the renowned Italian brand, under the guidance of Marco Gobbetti, has launched a special project to commemorate the debut collection of its new creative director, Maximilian Davis. For a limited time of one month, the brand will be offering a selection of pieces from Davis’ first collection, which was unveiled in September.

Known as “A new dawn,” this project features approximately twelve looks from the spring-summer 2023 collection, with a primary focus on women’s ready-to-wear pieces. There are also a few men’s looks available, as well as accessories like bags and shoes for both genders. The collection showcases captivating pieces, including three full red looks, sporty ensembles, and an array of accessories such as mules, sculptural heel sandals, and the revamped Wanda emblem bag.

Maximilian Davis provided insight into the inspiration behind the collection, expressing his desire to pay homage to the early days of Salvatore Ferragamo’s career, which were heavily influenced by Hollywood culture. Davis described the collection as an embodiment of the sensuality, simplicity, and the stunning sunsets and sunrises associated with Hollywood. To capture the essence of this theme, the brand commissioned a photo campaign in the area, shot by Jackie Nickerson.

In addition to the sale, Ferragamo has created “The World of Ferragamo,” an immersive digital experience that allows users to explore the collection and engage with creative content. This complementary feature enhances the overall project. Buyers can purchase the available pieces starting from November 4 to 30 through the brand’s website and in seventeen selected stores globally, including Ferragamo’s own stores and multi-brand boutiques in prominent locations such as Dubai, Shanghai, Tokyo, Miami, Costa Mesa, San Paolo, Milan, Paris, London, and New York.

Ultimately, Ferragamo’s special sale serves as a celebration of the brand’s new chapter and its collaboration with Maximilian Davis. Through the promotion of Davis’ designs and the incorporation of immersive digital experiences, the brand is embracing innovation while attracting a global audience. The sale not only provides customers with the opportunity to own unique and luxurious pieces but also invites them to engage with Ferragamo’s creative vision for the future.
