Fashion Tech Festival showcases the future of fashion

The second edition of the Fashion Tech Festival, organized by Showroomprivé, was officially launched on June 28, 2017. This exciting event, in partnership with ULTIMZ Journal, offers fashion enthusiasts the opportunity to explore and experience the future of fashion. Taking place at the Gaîté Lyrique, the Fashion Tech Festival will continue until July 2, 2017.

The Fashion Tech Festival is a unique platform that aims to provide insights into the fashion trends of tomorrow. Curated by Thierry Petit and David Dayan, the founders of Showroomprivé, this event brings together fashion houses and innovative startups that are pushing the boundaries of technology and design. Through their creations, these participants strive to shape the future of fashion.

At the end of the Fashion Tech Festival, a distinguished jury, led by Pierre-François Le Louët, the head of the Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin, will award 10 prizes across 5 categories. This recognition not only serves as an encouragement for the showcased talents but also highlights the significance of merging fashion and technology.

Visitors to the Fashion Tech Festival will have the privilege of witnessing the futuristic creations of various startups. As they step into the Gaîté Lyrique, they will be captivated by the displays of last year’s winners. From anti-wave underwear to connected wallets, sewing kits, and 3D-printed jewelry, these inventions epitomize the convergence of fashion and technology.

One of the central themes of the Fashion Tech Festival is the future of fashion in relation to health and sustainable development. According to the event organizers, future clothing will be connected and will respond to the pressing challenges of our time. With an emphasis on health and sustainability, the Fashion Tech Festival is a step forward in exploring how fashion can contribute to a better world.

In addition to the exhibitions, the Fashion Tech Festival will host several discussions on the innovations and ideas presented. The “Look Forward Fashion Tech” exhibition, in particular, will showcase a diverse range of projects that contribute to the construction of future fashion. These projects are centered around four key themes: environmental commitment, intangible impact, intimacy & society, and the concept of an augmented body. Creators from around the world will present approximately thirty ground-breaking creations that challenge traditional notions of fashion.
