Danish fashion retail giant Bestseller is further expanding its brand portfolio with the launch of Evoked Vila, a plus-size label. After a successful shop-in-shop debut in 15 markets over the past year, Evoked Vila is set to open its first three standalone stores in Danish provincial cities this month and next. The brand aims to continue expanding the Evoked shop-in-shop concept across the European market, taking advantage of Bestseller’s success in Germany and Spain.

In other fashion news, denim brand Lee is partnering with LA-based brand Daydreamer for its first-ever womenswear collaboration. Daydreamer, known for its vintage-inspired band t-shirts and tops, brings its deep American cultural roots to merge with Lee’s denim heritage. The limited-edition capsule collection pays homage to the rich history of music and fashion, offering re-imagined styles that empower women today while honoring the past. The collection includes a range of women’s t-shirts, crews, sweatshirts, denim jackets, and jeans, with prices ranging from $75 to $138. The tops and jackets are available in sizes XS to XL, and the jeans are available in sizes 24-35.

American DTC eyewear specialist Warby Parker has reported strong financial results for Q2. The company experienced an 11% increase in revenue, amounting to $166.1 million, with adjusted EBITDA also rising significantly by $8.2 million to $14.2 million. The average revenue per customer increased by 9.2% to $277, and the number of active customers grew by 1.2% to 2.28 million. Although the gross margin decreased slightly, Warby Parker emphasized the importance of its stores in attracting new consumers and plans to open 40 new stores this year.

Resale specialist Trove has secured $30 million in Series E funding, bringing its total funding to over $150 million. The company plans to use the new capital injection to accelerate its expansion by partnering with new brands and verticals. Additionally, Trove will focus on growing its Trove Recommerce Powered facilities to meet the rising demand for its branded resale solutions. With Trove-powered resale sites currently accounting for over 60% of all branded resale traffic in North America, the company aims to leverage the rapid growth of the resale market, which is expected to represent 23% of all retail by 2030.
