Fashion East recently revealed the exciting lineup of designers who will be showcasing their AW19 womenswear collections at London Fashion Week on February 17th. Among the talented designers set to take the stage are newcomer Gareth Wrighton, as well as returning favorites Charlotte Knowles and Yuhan Wang.

For emerging designers, being a part of Fashion East is a prestigious opportunity that provides a tailored support program and invaluable industry exposure during LFW. The selected designers not only receive financial support in the form of bursaries but also benefit from one-on-one mentoring, placement in a Paris sales showroom, introductions to key players in the industry, marketing assistance, business training, and potential commercial partnerships.

Gareth Wrighton is a versatile designer who explores a wide range of mediums such as knitwear, tailoring, photography, and computer modeling. On the other hand, Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault are known for their meticulous attention to detail and refined pieces, which are available at various international stockists. Yuhan Wang draws inspiration from traditional Chinese femininity and its intriguing juxtaposition with Western culture.

Fashion East has a history of nurturing emerging talent, with alumni like JW Anderson, Roksanda Ilincic, and Simone Rocha making significant strides in the fashion industry. Lulu Kennedy, the Founder and Director of Fashion East, expressed her enthusiasm about Gareth Wrighton’s inclusion in the lineup, applauding his innovative vision.
