Starting from August 4th, customers in the US will have the opportunity to shop this captivating collection. In other noteworthy news, luxury brand Hermès has opened a stunning new store in Los Angeles, adding to its impressive portfolio. The store, located at Westfield Topanga, marks Hermès’ sixth store in California and the 35th in the US. One of the standout features of this new store is its design, which draws inspiration from the surrounding nature. With façade columns and a color and texture palette reminiscent of Topanga State Park, the store creates a unique and immersive shopping experience for visitors.

Moving on, LuisaViaRoma, a renowned Italian luxury retailer, is making changes at the top as it sets its sights on international expansion and category diversification. The company has appointed Tommaso Maria Andorlini as its new CEO, taking over from Alessandra Rossi. This leadership change comes after private equity firm Style Capital acquired a 40% stake in LuisaViaRoma, with Andrea Panconesi, a member of the founding family, remaining the majority shareholder.

In the realm of eyewear, Marcolin, a prominent eyewear company, is embracing augmented reality (AR) technology to enhance its training and customer experience efforts. The company has launched an innovative project known as the immersive tour, which takes place within its Italian factories. This initiative allows employees to engage with AR technology during training and development programs. Through the Marcolin Manufacturing Academy program, employees can take a virtual tour of the entire production process, from creative design to prototyping, manufacturing, and product distribution. This immersive approach to training not only enhances employees’ knowledge and skills but also elevates the overall customer experience.

Lastly, Finnish retail giant Stockmann has released its second-quarter results, shedding light on its performance during this period. The company, which owns the popular fashion brand Lindex, reported group revenue of €252 million. Although this represented a slight decrease from €269 million, when taking local currencies into account, the decrease was only 0.5%. The Lindex division also experienced a decline in revenue, from €188 million to €176.2 million. However, this division showed growth in local currencies, indicating promising prospects. On the other hand, the Stockmann division saw a decrease in revenue, dropping from €81 million to €75.8 million. The company attributed the decline to challenging conditions and a delayed arrival of spring-like weather, which impacted consumer behavior.
