Farfetch Makes Key Leadership Changes at NGG and Off-White

Farfetch, the leading luxury platform, has made significant changes to its executive leadership team. Cristiano Fagnani has been appointed as the new CEO of Off-White, while continuing in his current role as CEO of NGG++ within New Guard Group (NGG). Fagnani brings over 20 years of industry experience to the position, having previously served as the chief marketing officer for NGG, where he worked closely with Off-White, the popular brand founded by Virgil Abloh. Prior to his time at NGG, Fagnani held various roles at Nike, including overseeing energy marketing, brand experience, and product collaborations.

In addition to Fagnani’s appointment, Farfetch has also announced that Stephanie Phair will become the chair of NGG. Phair, who has been serving on the operational boards of NGG brands, will support the NGG leadership team in achieving their business goals and ensuring a seamless integration with the Farfetch Group. While taking on this new role, Phair will continue to serve as the group president of Farfetch.

These changes in executive leadership come as a result of the departures of NGG CEO Davide De Giglio and his co-founder, executive director, and Off-White CEO Andrea Grilli. The specific reasons for their departures have not been disclosed. De Giglio expressed gratitude for the opportunities he had during his tenure and expressed confidence in the future of NGG. Phair has thanked him and welcomed the new team, including Cristiano, Ib, Stefano, and Francesco.

It’s worth noting that the leadership team for Palm Angels, another brand owned by NGG, will remain unchanged. Stefano Robino will continue as the general manager, and Francesco Ragazzi will remain the founder and creative director. The leadership of the other NGG brands will also remain unaffected by these changes.

NGG, established in Milan in 2015, is responsible for designing, producing, and distributing renowned global brands such as Palm Angels, Off-White, and Reebok. Farfetch acquired NGG in 2019, solidifying its position in the luxury industry. These recent executive appointments and departures showcase Farfetch’s dedication to growth and strategic leadership, ensuring the continued success of NGG and its associated brands.
