Exciting Development at Merry Hill Mall with Flannels Store Opening

Intu, the renowned real estate investment company, has recently announced a thrilling development for its Merry Hill mall near Birmingham. The upscale retailer Flannels will soon be opening a new store on the upper level of the mall in December, offering customers in the West Midlands a dazzling array of high-end fashion brands.

The innovative store concept, crafted by property specialist Argent, will boast custom bold prints and fabrics that can be switched out to refresh the atmosphere and keep up with seasonal trends. The store will also feature bespoke marble inlay flooring made of Tinos Verde, Antique Brown, and Bianco vein marble, adding a touch of luxury to the shopping experience.

Nick Round, Intu’s regional managing director, expressed his enthusiasm for the transformation of this key area of the centre to accommodate Flannels’ concept store. This initiative underscores Intu’s dedication to elevating the overall shopping experience for its visitors.

Carl Tallents, Flannels’ head of brand, views Merry Hill mall as a pivotal destination for the retailer, providing access to a new customer base in the region, thanks to the impressive 18 million annual footfall. Intu’s acquisition of Merry Hill in 2016 has led to the arrival of several prominent brands, including a large Next store and upcoming openings of Timberland and Footlocker.

Timberland is set to unveil a 2,150 sq ft store this month, while Footlocker will take over a sprawling 9,600 sq ft space for its new location. With the addition of Flannels and other popular retailers, Intu is demonstrating its commitment to offering a diverse and vibrant shopping experience at Merry Hill mall.
