Éric Pfrunder, a close collaborator and right-hand man to the late Karl Lagerfeld, has sadly passed away at the age of 74. Born in Algeria, Pfrunder became joint artistic director of Chanel following Lagerfeld’s passing in 2019. He took charge of overseeing advertising, marketing, films, events, and digital initiatives for the brand. Additionally, Pfrunder was entrusted with curating Lagerfeld’s vast archive of campaigns, portraits, magazine shoots, and architectural studies.
