Emmanuelle Khanh Makes Comeback in Luxury Market with New Eyewear Collection

Emmanuelle Khanh, the iconic fashion house known for its expertise in couture and women’s ready-to-wear fashion, is making a comeback in the luxury market with the unveiling of a new eyewear collection. The EK frames, priced at 300 euros, are already available at select independent opticians, including Marc Lebihan, Le Bon Marché, and Galeries Lafayette. Additionally, they will be sold in the United States at Fred Segal and in Japan at the Baycrews concept store.

Didier Marder, the CEO of Emmanuelle Khanh, expressed his excitement for the launch of the new eyewear collection. He highlighted the brand’s ability to attract a diverse clientele, including a significant number of men who appreciate the iconic “50/50” model with thick temples, which indicates that the brand has a transgenerational appeal.

Emmanuelle Khanh, founded in 1969 by its namesake designer who sadly passed away in February, was at its prime during the 1970s. The brand represented freedom, modernity, and an active lifestyle, pioneering the use of innovative materials such as denim and plastic. Additionally, Emmanuelle Khanh was known for its exquisite embroidery and knitwear craftsmanship.

In 1972, Emmanuelle Khanh decided to venture into the eyewear industry, recognizing frames as a fashion accessory. These frames quickly gained popularity and sold three million copies worldwide.

Under the leadership of CEO Didier Marder, Emmanuelle Khanh is now striving to reestablish itself in the fashion market by introducing a prestigious collection of eyewear. With this new launch, the brand aims to regain its position as a leader in luxury fashion.
