Emilio Pucci Enters Children’s Fashion Market

Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci is breaking into the children’s fashion market with its new collection of clothing and accessories for babies and children. Collaborating with children’s brand Simonetta, Emilio Pucci will now offer stylish options for children aged 0 to 14.

The debut collection, showcased at the Palazzo Pucci in Florence, takes inspiration from Emilio Pucci’s renowned women’s collections. With vibrant and luxurious designs, the children’s line stays true to the brand’s signature style. Laudomia Pucci, the brand’s image director and daughter of the founder, expressed the brand’s commitment to its customers, stating, “We wanted to stay true to our customers who have been asking for a children’s collection for a long time.”

The collection, available for the spring-summer 2018 season, will be sold in Emilio Pucci boutiques as well as on its e-commerce website. With 80 luxurious pieces to choose from, including dresses, raincoats, accessories, bags, printed ballerinas, and sneakers, Emilio Pucci aims to captivate fans of the brand at an early age. Laudomia Pucci describes the collection as a way to “dress little girls from birth to 14 years old and accompany them in all the moments of their lives, whether it be ceremonies, the beach, or casual sportswear.”

Joining the likes of other luxury brands, such as Dior, Gucci, and Karl Lagerfeld, Emilio Pucci’s expansion into the children’s fashion market marks a significant step for the brand. It will be interesting to see if their children’s creations achieve the same level of success as their women’s line.
