Elena Carrettoni, the newly appointed executive in charge of managing the catwalk calendars for Paris runway seasons by the French Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion, has taken on a significant role overseeing six full runway seasons each year. Her responsibilities include organizing menswear, women’s prêt-a-porter, and haute couture shows in the fashion capital of France.
Chosen for the role by federation president Ralph Toledano and executive president Pascal Morand, Carrettoni’s official title as Responsable du Calendrier Officiel highlights her crucial position in coordinating all the calendars for Paris Fashion Week (PFW). This includes orchestrating the schedules for both men’s and women’s ready-to-wear shows, as well as haute couture presentations.
Teaming up with Guillaume Robic, who now serves as the director of development, communications, and special events, Carrettoni steps into the shoes of Laurence Soudre, who previously held the role but left earlier this year. Carrettoni’s journey with the Federation dates back to 2007 when she joined after completing her studies at Marangoni fashion college in Milan. Her dedication and hard work have led her to ascend to this high-ranking executive position.
