Dundrum Town Centre expands with new tenants

Dundrum Town Centre, owned by Hammerson, is continuing its expansion plans with the addition of two new tenants. Luxury watch and jewellery retailer, Watches of Switzerland (WoS), will open its first store in Ireland at the mall early next year. The new WoS store, spanning 1,475 sq ft, will be located directly across from the recently opened Brown Thomas on Level 1. WoS has plans to open monobrand boutiques across Europe, providing customers with private appointments and a luxurious shopping experience.

Alongside WoS, Irish clothing brand Gym+Coffee will also be expanding and relocating within the mall. The new flagship store, covering 1,918 sq ft, will be situated near the North Mall entrance on Level 2 and is set to open in September. Natalie Conway, Retail Director of Gym+Coffee, expressed her excitement about the expansion, explaining that Dundrum Town Centre has always supported the brand’s mission and investing in the flagship Clubhouse was a natural progression.

Hammerson, the commercial property giant, sees the success of Gym+Coffee as part of its strategy to identify and support digitally native brands by providing physical retail space. By doing so, Hammerson enables these brands to grow their business and reach a broader customer base. The addition of Gym+Coffee further enhances Dundrum Town Centre’s position as a premier shopping and leisure destination in Ireland.

Dundrum Town Centre has already incubated several other Irish brands, including Millies, Movrs, 4th ARQ, and Folkster. The presence of established brands like Brown Thomas and Penneys has also contributed to the mall’s success and increased footfall. Connor Owens, Managing Director of Asset Management for Hammerson in Ireland and Scotland, expressed his enthusiasm for the arrival of Watches of Switzerland, affirming that it strengthens Dundrum Town Centre’s reputation and demonstrates their commitment to bringing new concepts to Dublin.

The demand for premium jewellery brands, such as WoS, has been robust, with customers investing in timepieces after saving up during the pandemic. With the addition of TAG Heuer’s new boutique, Dundrum customers can expect an even wider selection of luxury brands to choose from. The expansion of Gym+Coffee further solidifies the brand as the leading athleisure brand in Ireland. As these new additions join the thriving retail landscape at Dundrum Town Centre, it remains poised to remain a top destination for shoppers and fashion enthusiasts alike.
