Dries Van Noten Announces Management Changes

Luxury fashion brand Dries Van Noten has recently announced some changes in its senior management team. Following the departure of former CEO Matteo de Rosa, the position will now be taken over by Axel Keller, a highly experienced manager in the luxury sector. Keller, who previously served as the CEO of Jil Sander, brings with him over 30 years of experience in the industry, having worked with renowned fashion brands such as Maison Martin Margiela and Balenciaga.

In addition to the new CEO, Dries Van Noten has also appointed Sabine Fandino Fineau as the vice-president. Fineau has been a part of the Belgian label for an impressive 25 years and previously held the position of managing director.

Dries Van Noten, founded in 1986 by its namesake designer, has undergone significant changes in recent years. In 2018, the company was acquired by Spanish group Puig, leading to strategic shifts within the business. Amidst the pandemic, the brand restructured its operations, streamlining collections and embracing digital presentations through videos. Recognizing the importance of e-commerce, Dries Van Noten has also worked on strengthening its online presence and revamping its physical stores. This transformation is exemplified by the brand’s recently opened concept store in Los Angeles, which seamlessly integrates fashion, art, and music.

With the appointment of Axel Keller as the new CEO and the addition of Sabine Fandino Fineau as the vice-president, Dries Van Noten is setting its sights on continued growth and success in the luxury fashion industry. Both leaders bring their extensive expertise and years of experience to the table, positioning the brand to embark on a new era of innovation and creativity.
