Dr. Martens Appoints Darren McCoy as Global Creative Director

Before joining Dr. Martens, he served at Asics Europe, contributing to the Asics Tiger and Onitsuka Tiger brands. He also gained experience at VF Corporation’s The North Face and Adidas Originals. Additionally, he spent two years as a product manager at Mamas and Papas.

In his new capacity, McCoy intends to continue innovating and communicating the brand’s narrative through the creative process and interactions with customers. However, he emphasizes the significance of preserving and paying tribute to the brand’s heritage. He also expresses gratitude for the talented designers and creatives he collaborates with, seeing his role as perpetuating the custodian mindset that has propelled Dr. Martens to its current position in the market.
