In anticipation of International Earth Day, luxury fashion house Dior is joining forces with environmental organization Parley For The Oceans to raise awareness about marine conservation. This collaboration involves a takeover of Dior’s various social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, which will be transformed to focus on the urgent threats faced by our oceans and the ecosystems they support.
Scheduled for Thursday, April 21, the initiative will feature a multitude of awareness content, alongside a live discussion on Twitter Spaces at 5 p.m. This engaging event will bring together notable figures such as Cyrill Gutsch, founder of Parley, Rémi Macario, Sustainable Development Coordinator at Christian Dior, and Alice Pfeiffer, author and executive editor of the French edition of Nylon magazine. They will delve into environmental issues, shedding light on the importance of marine conservation.
By lending its influential platforms to the cause, Dior aims to reflect its brand commitments and make a substantial impact on environmental awareness. This collaboration is also reflected in Dior’s recently introduced Beachwear capsule collection, designed by artistic director Kim Jones in collaboration with Parley For the Oceans. Unveiled just last week, this mini-collection exclusively consists of environmentally friendly pieces, further emphasizing Dior’s dedication to sustainability and responsible fashion.
