Dior Appoints Claudia Marcocci as General Director of Christian Dior Perfumes

Luxury house Dior has recently appointed Claudia Marcocci as the new General Director of the Christian Dior Perfumes brand, succeeding Véronique Courtois. As a beauty expert, Marcocci brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise in the perfume and cosmetics industry. She holds an impressive CV, having worked in various positions of responsibility for prestigious brands such as Lacoste, Valentino, and Hugo Boss during her time at Procter & Gamble. Marcocci’s experience also includes being the Global Director of e-commerce and digital for all Procter & Gamble Prestige brands and serving as Brand Director for Dolce & Gabbana Perfumes and Makeup.

With her strong background in digital and her proven leadership skills, Marcocci is expected to lead the Christian Dior Perfumes brand to new heights. Laurent Kleitman, President and CEO of Dior Perfumes, praised her passion, creativity, and team spirit. Marcocci’s appointment comes at a significant time for the Dior brand, as it follows the announcement of LVMH’s record results for its 2019 fiscal year. The Perfumes and Cosmetics Division of the luxury giant reported a turnover of 6.84 billion euros, with Dior’s performance being a driving force behind this achievement.

Véronique Courtois, who previously held the position of General Director for Christian Dior Perfumes for over seven years, has now taken on the role of CEO for Guerlain, another brand under LVMH. This move highlights the talented individuals within the luxury industry who are often sought after for key positions within different brands.

Overall, Dior’s appointment of Claudia Marcocci signifies their commitment to continuous growth and innovation in the perfume industry. Her expertise and experience are expected to contribute greatly to the brand’s success in the coming years.
