Dior and Travis Scott’s ‘Cactus Jack Dior’ Collection Release Announcement

Dior has recently made an exciting announcement, revealing that the highly anticipated Travis Scott collaborative collection for men, known as ‘Cactus Jack Dior’, will finally be released later this month. Originally scheduled to launch in early 2022, the collection was unfortunately postponed due to the tragic events that occurred at Scott’s Astroworld festival. However, fans will now have the opportunity to purchase the collection starting from July 13.

The partnership between Dior and Travis Scott was initially unveiled at Dior’s spring/summer 2022 show in Paris last year. Dior’s artistic director, Kim Jones, worked closely with Scott to co-design the collection, which includes both fashion and sneakers for men. The collaboration showcases a fusion of Dior’s timeless motifs and Scott’s personal style, as well as his renowned creative collective, Cactus Jack.

The decision to delay the collection launch was made as a gesture of respect for the individuals who tragically lost their lives at the Astroworld festival. Another consequence of the incident was Nike distancing itself from Scott, resulting in the postponement of the release of the highly anticipated Travis Scott sneaker. It remains uncertain whether Nike will eventually release the Air Force 1 model inspired by Scott.

Travis Scott, through his Cactus Jack brand, has successfully partnered with various major companies, including Nike, Dover Street Market, McDonald’s, and Playstation. Scott previously collaborated with Dior when he served as a model for the Air Dior capsule collection. Beyond his accomplishments in both fashion and music, Scott founded the Cactus Jack Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering and enriching the lives of young people through education and the provision of creative resources.

The Cactus Jack Dior collection will be available for purchase on Dior’s website and at select Dior stores beginning July 13. Enthusiastic fans of both Dior and Travis Scott have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this long-anticipated collection.
