Designers Apartment Showroom Adds Three New Talents for Autumn 2018 Edition

Designers Apartment, the renowned Parisian showroom dedicated to promoting emerging French designers, has recently announced the exciting addition of three fresh names for the upcoming autumn 2018 edition. Taking place at the prestigious Palais de Tokyo venue in Paris from September 24th to October 2nd, this exclusive event is brought to you by the French Federation of Fashion and Haute Couture in collaboration with DEFI (the Committee for the Development and Promotion of Apparel).

One of the newcomers to grace the Designers Apartment stage is Airvei, a unisex label founded by the visionary Julien Goulard. Known for his experimental designs inspired by volume, structure, and movement, Goulard, a design student at Strate Design School, has captivated audiences with his unique construction techniques. Airvei’s debut collection combines streetwear and workwear elements, with a focus on intricate details and cutting-edge design.

Adding to the lineup is Boyarovskaya, created by Maria Boyarovskaya and fashion photographer Artem Kononenko in 2016. This contemporary women’s ready-to-wear collection is celebrated for its minimalistic yet striking designs, characterized by deconstructed tailoring and graphic simplicity. Boyarovskaya has quickly garnered attention from retailers for its distinctive style.

Rounding out the trio of new talents is Nicolas Lecourt-Mansion, a fashion maverick hailing from Strasbourg. After honing his craft at Atelier Chardon Savard, Lecourt-Mansion established his eponymous ready-to-wear label in Paris. His couture looks, featuring vibrant colors and luxurious fabrics, cater to both men and women, showcasing his bold and dynamic design aesthetic.

Alongside these rising stars, the Designers Apartment showroom will also feature a stellar lineup including renowned designers such as Arthur Avellano, Clara Daguin, Dawei, GNDR, Kenta Matsushige, Mazarine, Proêmes de Paris, Quoï Alexander, and Savoar Fer for the autumn 2018 edition. While bidding adieu to labels like Coralie Marabelle, Afterhomework(Paris), DA/DA Diane Ducasse, and Nïuku, the showroom remains a breeding ground for future fashion icons.

With its diverse mix of established and emerging talent, Designers Apartment continues to serve as a vital platform for showcasing the innovative spirit of the French fashion industry. Each edition prides itself on providing a launchpad for burgeoning designers to gain exposure, connect with buyers, and expand their footprint in the competitive fashion landscape.
