Designer Bali Barret to Leave Hermès

According to a recent report by WWD, it has been confirmed that Bali Barret, the esteemed designer, will be parting ways with luxury fashion house Hermès by the end of this year. Barret, who has been an iconic figure at Hermès since joining the brand in 2003, initially began her journey in the Silk Department. Pierre-Alexis Dumas, the General Director of Creation at Hermès, revealed this news in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily a few days ago. While the exact reason for her departure remains undisclosed, Barret’s remarkable talent and contributions to the brand’s “beauty, audacity, whimsy, and contemporary vision” have been highly acclaimed.

Throughout her tenure as the artistic director of the women’s universe at Hermès, Bali Barret has often been hailed as the brand’s “secret weapon.” She has collaborated with various creative directors of the label, notably on the creation of Hermès’ debut lipstick collection, which was launched earlier this year.

As of now, further details regarding Barret’s departure from Hermès are yet to be revealed. However, it is expected that more information will emerge in the coming months.
