Deichmann Set to Reopen Upgraded Livingston Store with ‘Fast Track’ Shopping Concept

Deichmann, a well-known shoe retailer known for its great value, is gearing up for the grand re-opening of its Livingston branch after a major £280,000 renovation. The newly refurbished 307-square-metre store, located in The Centre, is set to welcome customers later this month. Deichmann’s revamped shop will feature the brand’s innovative ‘fast track’ shopping concept, where all shoes and sizes are easily accessible on the shop floor for shoppers to explore at their leisure.

The successful implementation of this concept in other Deichmann stores across the UK, such as Canterbury and Blackpool, has led the brand to focus on increasing its brand visibility through a partnership with British singer/songwriter Rita Ora. With prices as low as £5.99, Deichmann is positioned as a direct competitor to other budget-friendly shoe retailers like Shoe Zone and Primark. Along with its own range of women’s shoes, men’s shoes, and accessories, Deichmann also offers popular styles from top brands such as Adidas and Nike.

Store manager Lynne Baird shared her enthusiasm for the Livingston store renovation, stating, “We are thrilled to be reopening our doors in Livingston and have missed our loyal customers during the closure. We are excited to showcase the amazing transformation of our store and welcome back the shoppers of The Centre.” Deichmann operates approximately 100 stores in the UK, including flagship locations in Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City. In 2018, the company reported global sales of €5.8 billion, representing a 2% increase from the previous year.
