Danish Designer Henrik Vibskov Opens Pop-Up Store in Paris

Renowned Danish fashion designer Henrik Vibskov has made a bold move by opening his very first pop-up store in the heart of Paris. Located at 13 rue Taylor, this exclusive temporary store will be welcoming visitors from November 29 to December 29. With a total area of 65 square meters, the store is situated within an art gallery that is frequently utilized by the designer’s PR agency, the Vald Agency, for hosting a variety of events.

Guests stepping into the store will be treated to a unique experience where they can delve into Vibskov’s latest collections for both men and women for the autumn/winter season. Alongside the clothing, the store will also offer a selection of seasonal accessories including shoes, scarves, and fragrances. Keeping in line with the designer’s innovative style, the store will also showcase a curated display of books that shed light on Vibskov’s visionary work. Drawing inspiration from his acclaimed Autumn/Winter 2018-19 runway show, the pop-up store will be infused with elements and installations reminiscent of his elaborate shows.

While Vibskov’s label was previously available only through select multibrand retailers, the launch of this pop-up store marks a significant milestone in his career as he ventures into the competitive Parisian retail scene. With this move, the designer hopes to not only connect with his existing clientele but also attract new fashion enthusiasts in an intimate setting away from the hustle and bustle of fashion weeks and tourist seasons.

Presently, Henrik Vibskov oversees two monobrand stores in Copenhagen and New York. Depending on the reception of the Paris pop-up store, there is a strong possibility of expanding the brand’s presence further. This strategic decision not only allows Vibskov to gain a deeper understanding of the demands of the Parisian market but also serves to bolster his brand’s global outreach.
