Creatives for Lebanon Launch Solidarity Sale

The “Creatives for Lebanon” association has launched a solidarity sale featuring the works of thirty designers to aid Beirut in its recovery from the devastating explosion that occurred a few months ago. The association, founded by nine individuals including Caroline Issa and Noor Fares, has enlisted the support of prominent fashion houses and designers such as Christian Dior, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Mary Katrantzou, as well as Lebanese fashion figures like Rabih Kayrouz and Sandra Mansour. The sale, which began on October 30th, includes 300 unique pieces and is available on the association’s partner site, Beirut Re-Store, where art and design objects are also sold.

The main objective of this initiative is to express solidarity and support for Beirut through the inclusion of references and messages dedicated to the city. Designs by Azzedine Alaïa feature the phrase “Beyrouth mon amour” on the back of a t-shirt, while Christian Louboutin includes a heartfelt note with his Piloutin clutch, expressing his love for Lebanon and its people. The sale aims to raise funds for the LIFE association, a local organization that provides assistance to the community and supports educational projects through a scholarship program.

By purchasing these unique creations, individuals can contribute to the recovery and rebuilding of Beirut while also showcasing their support for the city and its people. The solidarity sale serves as a platform for creatives to use their talents and networks to make a positive impact in the wake of the tragic explosion.
