Creative Duo Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh Depart from Nina Ricci

In an unexpected announcement, the creative duo Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh have revealed their departure from Nina Ricci, the renowned fashion house. The decision, as described by the duo, was a mutual one and they expressed their gratitude for the opportunity they had at the brand. The news, which was shared on social media on January 31st, stated that the pair will now shift their focus to their own brand, Botter.

Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh were appointed as the creative directors of Nina Ricci in 2018, following the departure of Guillaume Henry. The Spanish group Puig owns the fashion house. However, after their short stint at the brand, the duo has decided to move on and concentrate on the development of Botter.

Botter, which is known as a label of “Caribbean Couture,” gained significant recognition in 2018. It made headlines after winning the Grand Jury Prize at the prestigious International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères. Additionally, the brand reached the finals of the esteemed LVMH Prize, solidifying its presence in the fashion industry.

With their departure from Nina Ricci, Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh now have the opportunity to fully dedicate themselves to Botter. This decision showcases their passion and commitment to nurturing their own brand and continuing to explore their unique style and perspective in the world of fashion.
