Chloé License Joins Kering Eyewear

After nearly a decade of collaboration with Marchon Eyewear, the prestigious Chloé license has now become a part of the brand portfolio of Kering Eyewear. This exciting new partnership encompasses all aspects of the eyewear business, including design, development, production, and distribution. With this addition, the renowned luxury fashion house Chloé joins the ranks of 13 other esteemed brands managed by Kering Eyewear, which includes industry powerhouses such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and Boucheron.

The initial fruits of this collaboration will be unveiled at the prestigious Silmo World Optical Fair before the year’s end, with plans for commercial availability by January 2021. This eagerly anticipated collection will not only cater to women but will also introduce a range of frames for children.

Roberto Vedovotto, the esteemed CEO and President of Kering Eyewear, is unwavering in his determination to unlock the immense potential of the Eyewear segment within Kering, solidifying its status as a leading player in the luxury fashion industry. He also underscores the significance of this partnership in strengthening the collaboration between Kering Eyewear and Compagnie Financière Richemont, the esteemed owner of the Chloé brand. This alliance follows Kering Eyewear’s successful strategic agreement with renowned Swiss jeweler Cartier in 2017, further enhancing their presence in the lucrative Eyewear category.
