Chanel Launches Coco Beach Line

Chanel, the iconic fashion house known for its elegance and sophistication, is gearing up to conquer the beach with its new Coco Beach line set to launch next summer. Designed by creative director Karl Lagerfeld, this capsule collection will be exclusively dedicated to beachwear and swimwear, offering a range of stylish ready-to-wear pieces and beach-inspired accessories.

From mid-June until September, fashion enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on Chanel’s swimsuits, espadrilles, bags, and even striped shirts at select Chanel stores. These stores will include coastal towns such as Nice, Cannes, and Saint-Tropez, and the collection will also be available in various international locations including Australia, Brazil, China, Japan, Palm Beach, Honolulu, Barcelona, Capri, and Dubai.

While this might be Chanel’s first dedicated beachwear line, the brand has always integrated beach elements into its collections. Tote bags, towels, and mats have regularly made appearances, showcasing the allure of the seaside and the associated lifestyle. This connection to the beach is deeply rooted in the brand’s history, as founder Gabrielle Chanel opened her first boutiques in Deauville in 1913 and later in Biarritz in 1915.

In addition to the Coco Beach line, Chanel is currently hosting a pop-up installation called Let’s Go Logo! at the Bon Marché Rive Gauche. Running until April 1st, this installation combines surfwear and oversized logos in a vibrant and digital atmosphere. One of the highlights is a paddleboard featuring Chanel’s iconic colors, reminiscent of the surfboard immortalized in the brand’s 2014 Chanel N°5 advertisement, “The One That I Want,” directed by Baz Luhrmann and featuring supermodel Gisèle Bündchen.

With its long history of incorporating beach elements into its collections and its widespread distribution, Chanel’s Coco Beach line is set to make a splash in the beachwear industry next summer. Whether you’re strolling down the French Riviera or relaxing on a tropical island, Chanel promises to bring elegance and style to beachgoers worldwide.
