Chanel Announces Riley Keough as Brand Ambassador

Chanel, the prestigious fashion brand known for its timeless elegance, has recently chosen Riley Keough as its newest brand ambassador. This decision falls in line with the creative director Virginie Viard’s strategy of selecting individuals who are not only multi-talented but also independent and edgy, reflecting the spirit of the brand.

In an official statement, Chanel proudly announced that Keough, an American actress, director, and producer, has been appointed as a House ambassador. She will be prominently featured in the fashion house’s campaign for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection, which has been designed by none other than Virginie Viard herself.

One of the reasons behind Keough’s selection is her significant recognition for her recent work in the hit series “Daisy Jones and the Six,” which is available on Amazon. Her portrayal of a singer in an overnight-successful rock band not only earned her critical acclaim but also an Emmy Award nomination for her brilliant performance.

Moreover, Keough has received accolades for her roles in two modern youthquake road movies, namely “Zola” and “American Honey.” The latter film even secured a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award, further cementing Keough’s reputation as a talented and versatile actress.

At the age of 34, Keough has already achieved remarkable success in the entertainment industry. In addition to her acting career, she is also a co-founder of the production company Felix Culpa. Chanel acknowledges the company’s commitment to telling bold and emotionally rich stories that push boundaries and challenge conventional thinking. Keough herself made her directorial debut with the critically acclaimed film “War Pony,” which not only won the prestigious Camera D’Or award at Cannes but also became a New York Times Critic’s Pick. This powerful film delves into the lives of adolescents growing up on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, shedding light on their struggles and resilience.

Interestingly, Keough has been a regular wearer of Chanel for over a decade. She has been spotted showcasing the brand’s exquisite pieces at various fashion shows and events. Notably, at Chanel’s March 2023 show held on the charming banks of the Seine, Keough turned heads in an elegant aubergine velour pants suit. And just last week, she donned a stunning white wool bouclé redingote at the latest show in the Grand Palais Ephemère, once again capturing attention with her impeccable style.

By selecting Riley Keough as its brand ambassador, Chanel reiterates its commitment to collaborating with influential figures who embody the brand’s core values of elegance and creativity. Keough’s diverse talents and unique perspective make her an exceptional addition to the Chanel family. As she continues to leave her mark in the entertainment industry and beyond, it is evident that her partnership with the iconic fashion house will be one to watch, yielding incredible results.
