Celine’s Fresh Store Concept in New York

Celine has recently introduced a fresh and innovative store concept in New York, debuting a design crafted by Hedi Slimane that echoes his past work at Saint Laurent. The striking new Celine flagship located at 650 Madison Avenue boasts a sophisticated blend of elegant veined marble, reflective mirrors, polished metallic accents, and geometric precision. Enhancing the modern aesthetic are features such as a stylish grey basalt floor and warm wooden details, creating a luxurious and inviting atmosphere. Spanning an expansive 450 square meters, the store seamlessly integrates both men’s and women’s ready-to-wear clothing and accessories collections.

Since taking the creative reins at Celine a year ago, Slimane has been diligently reshaping the brand with his signature minimalist style infused with a rebellious rock vibe. From the introduction of a fresh logo and new collections to the unveiling of this cutting-edge store concept, each step reflects Slimane’s unique vision for the brand. With ambitious goals to double revenues to 2 billion euros or beyond in the coming years, Celine plans to roll out the new store concept in upcoming key locations such as New York, Tokyo, and Paris.

Notably, in Paris, Celine is set to open its first standalone menswear store on Rue François-1er in the exclusive eighth arrondissement. Concurrently, the brand will expand its existing store on Rue de Grenelle to showcase men’s collections on the upper level and women’s collections on the ground floor. Future expansions are slated for cities like Los Angeles, London, Milan, Shanghai, and Beijing, with a particular emphasis on establishing standalone menswear boutiques in major fashion capitals. By selectively managing wholesale and prioritizing its mono-brand store network, Celine aims to maintain its exclusive image and cultivate a discerning clientele.
