According to a report by Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) on Monday, November 19th, Celine is set to present a menswear collection at the upcoming Paris Men’s Fashion Week. This comes after artistic director Hedi Slimane’s decision to showcase a mixed-gender show in Paris last September. However, this time Slimane has chosen to focus solely on menswear for the Fall/Winter 2019-2020 season. The French fashion house is currently in discussions with the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode to finalize the exact date for the show. The show is scheduled to take place during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris, which is set to run from January 15th to 20th. Interestingly, WWD hints that the runway show may also feature a few female silhouettes, indicating a possible blend of menswear and womenswear. As more updates emerge, fashion enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting this exciting display of Celine’s latest menswear creations.
