Casablanca Clothing Ltd Undergoes Buyout and Restructuring

Casablanca Clothing Ltd, founded by Charaf Tajer, has recently undergone a buyout and restructuring process in order to position itself for further growth. The company has been acquired by Casablanca Paris Ltd, a newly-established entity whose majority investor has chosen to stay anonymous. While the financial details of the deal were not revealed, it has been confirmed that all personnel will remain in their positions.

Charaf Tajer, based in Paris, initially launched Casablanca as a menswear-only brand in 2018 and later expanded it to include womenswear two years later. Since its inception, the label has experienced significant sales growth on an annual basis. The acquisition is expected to facilitate a recapitalization and restructuring that will strengthen the existing creative team and provide new investment to fuel the brand’s continued expansion.

David JW Bailey, the Company Director of Casablanca Clothing Ltd, expressed excitement for the new arrangement, stating that the committed and talented team is thrilled to be a part of the new company. Bailey believes that the additional investment will empower the team to build upon past successes and accelerate growth even further into 2024 and beyond. Kevin Gate, the Director of Casablanca Paris Ltd, emphasized the company’s dedication to supporting the brand and its creative team. Gate highlighted plans to heavily invest in expanding Casablanca’s global presence and maintaining strong relationships with industry stakeholders.

Casablanca has gained recognition for its shirts and recently diversified its product range to include sneakers. Charaf Tajer’s impressive track record with streetwear brand Pigalle and consulting work for Supreme have contributed to the success and reputation of his eponymous label. Furthermore, Tajer’s nomination as a finalist for the prestigious LVMH Prize in 2020 has further bolstered the popularity of the brand.

With the buyout and restructuring process now completed, Casablanca is well-positioned to continue its growth trajectory and establish itself as a prominent player within the fashion industry. This strategic move underscores the brand’s commitment to nurturing its creative team and expanding its global presence. As Casablanca enters this new chapter, fans can anticipate exciting developments and collaborations in the near future.
