Capri Holdings Outlines Ambitions for CSR and Environmental Sustainability

Luxury group Capri Holdings Limited, which owns brands such as Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo, and Versace, has outlined its ambitions for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental sustainability. After acquiring Jimmy Choo in 2017 and Versace in 2018, Capri Holdings evaluated the sustainable efforts of each brand and established a common CSR vision. The group aims to achieve carbon neutrality in its operations by 2025, with an initial phase of emissions reduction set for 2021. It also plans to reduce water usage, improve traceability of raw materials, and use recyclable packaging. Additionally, diversity and inclusion, as well as regulating working conditions, are key focuses of the program. Capri Holdings has signed the “United Nations Global Compact” to support responsible business goals.
