Scheduled to run from September 6 to 25, the installation, dubbed ‘Weather Patterns,’ will enchant visitors at the Observatoire art gallery on the fifth floor.
Stepping into the installation, guests will be enveloped in a mesmerizing spiral shelter that encapsulates the essence of Canada’s diverse weather phenomena. With sounds inspired by the urban landscapes of Canadian cities, visitors will be transported to a serene environment that embodies the raw beauty of nature.
Teaming up with Public Studio, a renowned Canadian creative agency, Canada Goose is poised to captivate art enthusiasts and fashion aficionados alike. Drawing influences from the iconic works of French artist Yves Klein, the shelter will showcase an array of blues, greens, and golds, creating an evocative abstract portrayal of the Canadian landscape.
Alongside the immersive art experience, the department store will also showcase a curated selection of Canada Goose’s signature jackets, parkas, and accessories at the pop-up store. This integration of art and fashion underscores Canada Goose’s commitment to providing a multi-sensory cultural experience for visitors.
The pop-up installation and store launch come on the heels of Canada Goose’s remarkable financial success, with a substantial revenue growth of 46% amounting to CAD 591 million (€386 million) for the 2017-18 fiscal year.
