Canada Goose Appoints Paul Cadman as President of APAC Business

Canada Goose, the Canadian outerwear company, has announced the appointment of Paul Cadman as the new president of its Asia-Pacific (APAC) business. Cadman will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations in the region, including commercial, financial, and marketing functions. Currently, Canada Goose has a strong presence in Greater China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.

Paul Cadman brings with him a wealth of experience in the luxury industry. He previously served as CEO of PMC Global Hong Kong Ltd., a strategic management and business consultancy focused on luxury. Cadman has also held leadership positions at renowned luxury brands such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Asprey & Garrard, Bulgari, and The Estée Lauder Companies.

Canada Goose President and CEO Dani Reiss expressed confidence in Cadman’s abilities and highlighted his expertise in the luxury sector and his extensive experience in brand development. Reiss believes that Cadman will play a crucial role in further strengthening Canada Goose’s presence in the APAC region.

The APAC region is a pivotal market for Canada Goose, with significant revenue growth observed in Mainland China. In the company’s recently reported second quarter, direct-to-consumer revenue in Mainland China increased by an impressive 85.9% year over year. To take advantage of this growth, Canada Goose has been strategically opening new stores in various cities in the region, including Harbin, Nanjing, Ningbo, Beijing, Taipei, and Macau.

In the second quarter, Canada Goose reported total revenues of C$232.9 million, with a net income of C$9.0 million. With the appointment of Paul Cadman and its ongoing expansion efforts, the company remains confident in its long-term growth prospects in the APAC market.
