Canada Goose appoints Beth Clymer as president of finance, strategy, and administration

Canada Goose, the renowned luxury down jacket brand, has recently announced the appointment of Beth Clymer as the company’s first-ever president of finance, strategy, and administration. Clymer, who will officially assume her new role on January 8th, will be responsible for overseeing various important aspects of the company, including finance, corporate strategy, and legal matters.

In her new position, Clymer will closely collaborate with the current leaders in these areas and will report directly to Dani Reiss, the Chairman and CEO of Canada Goose. Additionally, she will work alongside Jonathan Sinclair, who is set to become the president of APAC, and Neil Bowden, the incoming CFO, starting from April 1st.

In a separate development within the company, Penny Brook, the Chief Marketing and Experience Officer of Canada Goose, will be leaving the company by the end of this year. However, Carrie Baker, the President of Brand and Commercial, will continue to oversee the company’s global marketing efforts, while Daniel Binder will maintain his role as the Chief Transformation Officer.

Prior to joining Canada Goose, Clymer served as the CFO at Jobcase, where she successfully managed various functions such as finance, corporate development, and legal matters. Before her tenure at Jobcase, she spent a decade at Bain Capital, a prominent global investment firm, where she worked with both private and public companies, including Canada Goose. Her contributions were particularly significant during the period leading up to Canada Goose’s initial public offering and throughout the process.

Reiss expressed his confidence in Clymer, stating, “Beth has a long history and depth of experience working with Canada Goose… She is intimately familiar with our brand, strategy, and teams.” He firmly believes that Clymer’s expertise and track record will prove to be invaluable additions to the company’s leadership team.

These recent appointments highlight Canada Goose’s dedication to strategic growth as it continues to expand its global presence and solidify its position as a leading luxury outerwear brand. With experienced leaders in place, Canada Goose is well-positioned for ongoing success in the ever-evolving fashion industry.
