Canada Goose announces new store openings for fall-winter 2019

Canada Goose, the iconic Toronto-based luxury outerwear brand, is gearing up for an exciting season with the announcement of several new store openings for fall-winter 2019. The brand, renowned for its exceptional quality and stylish winter wear, is set to make a splash with debuts in prestigious locations such as Paris and Milan, as well as an expansion closer to home in North America.

In a strategic move to establish a stronger presence in Europe, Canada Goose will be opening its first brick-and-mortar stores in Milan and Paris later this year. Led by Patrick Sherlock, President of Canada Goose International AG, the brand is set to grace Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris and Via della Spiga in Milan, two fashionable locales synonymous with luxury and style.

The upcoming stores will boast an “Arctic-inspired mid-century environment” that beautifully merges Canadian and Italian influences, providing customers with a truly immersive shopping experience. Alongside these European debuts, Canada Goose is also set to open its fifth U.S. location at the renowned Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota, complete with a unique “Cold Room” for customers to test out products in cold temperatures.

Turning its focus back to Canada, Canada Goose will be expanding its footprint with new stores in Toronto and Alberta. The CF Sherway Gardens in Toronto and West Edmonton Hall in Alberta will soon be home to Canada Goose, with the latter also featuring a “Cold Room” for customers to try out cold-weather gear firsthand.

Further showcasing its commitment to the Canadian market, a third store will open in Banff, nestled within the breathtaking Cascade Shops. These new locations will offer a wide range of Canada Goose’s signature outerwear, knitwear, and accessories, in addition to seasonal collections and collaborations.

President and CEO Dani Reiss expressed his enthusiasm for the brand’s growth, highlighting the opportunity for fans to experience Canada Goose’s collections in an immersive setting. With recent expansions into China and plans for a manufacturing facility in Quebec, Canada Goose is poised for continued success in the global market.

In the third quarter of 2018, the brand reported impressive growth in revenue and net income, surpassing analyst expectations. This momentum solidifies Canada Goose’s position as a leader in the luxury outerwear sector, with a strong presence across North America, Europe, and Asia.
