Camille Miceli Appointed as Artistic Director for Emilio Pucci

Camille Miceli, the former creative director for accessories at Louis Vuitton, has been officially appointed as the artistic director for Emilio Pucci. The news comes after reports by FashionNetwork.com last month, and the confirmation came from LVMH, the parent company of Pucci. This announcement coincides with LVMH’s recent acquisition of the Florentine fashion house. Sidney Toledano, the chairman and CEO of LVMH, expressed confidence in Miceli’s energy, talent, and extensive experience within the Group. He personally travelled to Milan to introduce Miceli as the new artistic director at Pucci’s headquarters.

Camille Miceli brings with her an impressive professional background, including a five-year tenure at Christian Dior Couture, where she held important roles such as creative director for fashion jewelry and creative consultant for leather goods. She also played a vital part in launching Louis Vuitton’s ready-to-wear line under the guidance of Marc Jacobs. Alongside her work within the LVMH group, Miceli has also held positions at Azzedine Alaïa and Chanel, working in PR capacities.

With her French and Italian heritage and over 30 years of experience in luxury and fashion, Miceli is well-equipped to breathe new life into Emilio Pucci, which has been without an artistic director since 2017. This appointment holds promise for the brand’s global project and future success.
