Calvin Klein appoints new global chief marketing officer

Calvin Klein, the renowned fashion brand owned by PVH, has announced the appointment of Linh Peters as its new global chief marketing officer, effective November 2. In her new role, Peters will be responsible for spearheading brand experience, product marketing, and data-driven marketing innovation on a worldwide scale for Calvin Klein. She will also oversee all aspects of the consumer marketing organization within the brand.

Prior to joining Calvin Klein, Peters held a key position at Starbucks as the vice president of loyalty, partnerships, and licensed stores product and marketing. During her tenure there, she played a pivotal role in managing the brand’s loyalty program and devising digital consumer engagement strategies and marketing campaigns. Before her time at Starbucks, Peters also gained valuable experience at Ulta Beauty and Target Redcard, focusing on loyalty marketing, strategy, brand development, and product marketing.

In light of Peters’ appointment, Greg Stogdon, who served as Calvin Klein’s acting chief brand officer, and J.D. Ostrow, the acting chief marketing officer, will continue to collaborate with the brand in new capacities. Calvin Klein has also enlisted the services of Frosty Pop as its branding agency of record. Stogdon and Ostrow will work in conjunction with Peters to further solidify the brand’s positioning and creative direction that has been evolving over the past year.

The hiring of Peters comes alongside the recent appointment of Jacob Jordan as Calvin Klein’s global chief merchant and product strategist, signaling the brand’s commitment to enhancing its marketing initiatives and creative vision in the months ahead.
