Calvin Klein and Palace Announce Exciting Collaboration

Calvin Klein has officially announced its partnership with the British skateboard label Palace. This collaboration will feature a diverse range of personalities, including well-known actors Willem Dafoe and Joan Collins, iconic music group Pet Shop Boys, professional skateboarder Lucien Clarke, and model Lourdes Leon. The fusion of these two brands is symbolized by the Palace triangular logo incorporating the Calvin Klein name. Building anticipation through social media teasers and billboards in New York City, the collaboration is set to be released on Friday, April 8th.

The collaboration heavily focuses on Calvin Klein’s classic pieces, which have established the brand as a champion of casualwear. Initial visuals released by both brands showcase the CK initials, which also serve as a logo, overlaid on the word Palace. In addition to this, Calvin Klein and Palace have confirmed the speculation surrounding a joint fragrance. They will present an updated version of the iconic CK1 scent, which was originally launched in 1994. This unisex fragrance will receive a modern twist with the incorporation of mandarin, violet, and oak moss notes.

Palace, since its establishment in London in 2009, has engaged in numerous successful collaborations. The brand has seamlessly infused its unique DNA into collaborations with renowned brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Evisu, and Moschino. With this new collaboration with Calvin Klein, it remains to be seen if Palace will embark on a trajectory similar to that of Supreme, another skateboarding label that has successfully expanded into a global streetwear phenomenon. Only time will reveal the outcome of this exciting partnership.
